The Financial Skills Workshops were created in support of the Rabo Client Council themes of long-term industry capacity and agricultural education. They were designed to attract and retain the next generation in the agriculture industry, supporting the knowledge of producers and farmers with more than 5,350 participants attending the workshops to date.

 

These complimentary workshops are a collaboration between Rabobank and Rabo Client Councils with their content and facilitation partner, Hudson Facilitation.

MEASURING FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP

Farm financials are one of the most useful and least used reports for many farming businesses. Through this workshop, you will gain an understanding of how to read and interpret this report and what it can tell you about your business. Your bank is a key stakeholder in your business. This workshop will explore how banks assess you and your business along with sharing a number of tips to help make this important relationship as beneficial as possible.  

 

GROSS MARGIN ANALYSIS AND CASH FLOW BUDGETING WORKSHOP

Gross margin analysis is a critical step in farm planning and decision making. In this workshop, we take an enterprise focused approach. We will consider both cash flow implications of a variety of enterprise choices and will also focus on preparing annual cash flow budgets.
