Rabobank’s Land Stewardship Award celebrates farmers who are leading the way in caring for their land. 

We understand that stewardship looks different for everyone and look forward to hearing your story.

9. From award to action

As part of the selection process, a shortlist of up to five entrants will be selected. Each shortlisted entrant will be invited to take part in a professionally produced video filmed on their farm to showcase their practices. Each shortlisted entrant that takes part in this will receive a copy of their video.
 
Subject to the other terms set out in this application form, the winner(s) will be selected at Rabobank’s sole discretion based on the responses provided above and any further information, images or supporting documentation subsequently provided to us as well as, the professionally produced video that each of the shortlisted entrants will be invited to participate in on their farm to showcase their practices.
 
Conflict of Interest Notification: as part of our commitment to transparency and fairness, we wish to inform entrants that some entrants in this award may also be members of Rabobank's Client Councils, or part of the immediate families of a member of Rabobank’s Client Councils. We acknowledge that this dual involvement may give rise to a perceived conflict of interest. Rabobank has implemented measures to ensure that all entries are assessed impartially and that no entrant receives preferential treatment due to their association with the Client Councils.

Eligibility, commitment and terms: 

 

A. Eligibility and commitment expectations

Before submitting your application, please ensure you meet the following requirements:

    • You are a current Rabobank client.
    • You are not aware of anything that might make you unable to attend the Rabobank Executive Development Program on the following dates:
      • Module 1: Sydney, 23-28 August 2026
      • Module 2: Sydney, 18-23 July 2027.
    • You are willing and available to participate in a professionally produced video on your farm during March or April 2026.
    • You are not an employee or director of Rabobank or our related entities, or part of the immediate families of an employee or director of Rabobank or our related entities.

B. Competition entries

    • Entries may be submitted for this Award until 20 February 2026 at 11:59:59 pm.
    • Each entrant must ensure that all information provided in connection with this Award is, to the best of your knowledge, true and accurate.

C. Privacy consent and IP licence for marketing

We hope you will be open to Rabobank sharing your journey through its communication and marketing channels.

 

To be shortlisted or selected as a winner, you will need to tick the consents below.

 

Please tick the boxes below to allow us to use your name and application responses for internal purposes and to promote the Award and otherwise in connection with sustainability-related and other marketing or publications.

I, the entrant, consent to my name being used by Rabobank in marketing activities, including publication in print and digital formats to promote the Award and otherwise in connection with sustainability-related or other marketing or publications.

I, the entrant, grant to Rabobank a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence (“Licence”) to use, reproduce, publish and adapt my application responses and, if applicable, all of my IP in the showcase video, for internal purposes and to promote the Award and otherwise in connection with sustainability-related and other marketing or publications. This licence can be revoked by me and I understand that revocation will apply prospectively and will not require Rabobank to remove, retract or cease use of any content that has already been published, distributed or otherwise used prior to the date of revocation.

Note: if you do not tick the privacy consent but do tick the IP licence, we will be allowed to use your application responses but we will not name you in them. If you do not tick either box, we will not be able to use your responses for marketing or other publications.

Confidential information. Please do NOT include any confidential information in your application answers, including trade secrets or commercially sensitive data, unless you intend to waive the confidentiality of that information.

I, the entrant, agree to waive any claims to confidentiality of any and all confidential information provided by me to Rabobank in connection with this application.

Note: if you have accidentally included confidential information in your application responses and wish to revoke the Licence described above in respect of that information, please let us know. This revocation will apply prospectively and will not require Rabobank to remove, retract or cease use of any content that has already been published, distributed or otherwise used prior to the date of revocation (however, we will take reasonable steps to do so).

Eligibility, commitment & terms (continued):

 

D. Selection of winner 

    • An entrant will be shortlisted or selected as a winner only if they provide all of the consents and the Licence described in section C above and agree to participate in the professionally produced video described above.
    • Rabobank will select the winner(s) at its sole discretion.
    • Rabobank’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into in connection with Rabobank’s deliberations and decisions.
    • Rabobank is not required to select a winner and may select only one winner.
    • Winners will be notified by 29 May 2026.
    • If any winner cannot be contacted within a specified time or fails to respond within any specified timeframe, Rabobank may select an alternate winner out of the pool of entrants.

E. Award and benefits

Each winner will receive:

    • a fully sponsored place on Rabobank's Executive Development Program (EDP), involving a two-week residential program. It will take place on the following dates:
      • Module 1: Sydney, 23-28 August 2026
      • Module 2: Sydney, 18-23 July 2027

(Module 2 includes the optional partner program - see below);

    • a speaker slot at the EDP to share your stewardship story;
    • a place for each winner’s spouse on the EDP partner program.

The Award and benefits are not transferable or redeemable for cash. However, if a winner has already attended an EDP, they may choose to substitute the benefits described above in this section E with a place for an immediate family member or employee of their farm business to attend the EDP (including the EDP partner program for that individual’s spouse), a Farm Managers Program or a Rabobank Knowledge Tour.

F. Exclusions

Travel costs are not included in this Award.

G. Contingencies

If for any reason whatsoever, beyond the reasonable control of Rabobank, the EDP is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated or any other part of the Award and benefits described above cannot be provided, Rabobank reserves the right to suspend, modify or terminate the Award and benefits.

Rabobank may disqualify any entrant who Rabobank reasonably believes has tampered with the entry process or who breaches these terms and conditions. In the event Rabobank takes steps under this clause, it will not be liable to entrants, including winners.

H. Personal data

Rabobank will use the personal data disclosed by you for the purposes of running this Award and may also disclose personal data to its related companies for the same purpose. Personal data will only be used in accordance with the Rabobank privacy policy which can be found at www.rabobank.com.au, which includes information about how you may access and seek correction of the personal data which we hold, and how an individual may make a privacy-related complaint.

I. Governing law

This agreement is government by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and Rabobank submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia.
