WELCOME TO BUSINESS TRANSITION & SUCCESSION PLANNING

These information sessions help set the foundation for family farm succession and equip farming families with the tools to optimise their chances for business continuity. Participants will explore important topics such as why family and business communication is difficult and how to improve it, what makes a meeting work, and how to take account of differing family goals.

This complimentary information session is a collaboration between Rabobank, the Rabo Client Councils and content and facilitator partner, Jim Benson.

If you are planning to attend this workshop with a partner, family member, friend or colleague, please ask them to also submit their own registration form.

DELIVERY METHODS

Face-to-Face Information Session: Five-hour facilitated face-to-face information session run in remote and regional areas across Australia.

If an information session is showing as FULL, you can continue with your registration to join the waitlist. If anyone withdraws from the session, we will allocate places to the session based on their order on the waitlist. If there is no capacity for you to join the information session this time, we will advise when new information sessions are in your region. PRIVACY CONSENT

By registering, you consent and have a reasonable expectation that any personal data collected by Rabobank Australia Limited (‘Rabobank’) in connection with this Information Session may be used for the purpose for registering you for and administering the Succession Sessions: Business Transition & Succession Planning ('Information Session').

Rabobank may disclose this personal data to other organisations and persons (located in Australia) necessary to assist Rabobank with the above purpose (for example, your name and dietary/medical requirements may be disclosed to the venue hosting an event).

PHOTOGRAPHY CONSENT

You also understand that Rabobank may promote future, similar events using:

• photographs and video footage taken at the Information Session that may include images or footage of you; and
• any feedback provided by you during or after the Information Session, to be used as a testimonial with your first and last name, town and/or state/territory included.

INFORMATION SESSION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By registering for this Information Session, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

• The Information Sessions begins at 8.30am and will conclude at 2.00pm unless otherwise communicated.
• Morning tea and lunch will be provided.
• The presentation slides and course material will not be provided to you after the Information Session.
• Travel to and from the Information Session is by own arrangement and is not the responsibility of Rabobank.

HEALTH AND SAFETY & TRAVEL INSURANCE

• If you wish for us to make adjustments to assist you in participating in the Information Session, please advise us of your needs well in advance of the Information Session start date. This may include adjustments needed in connection with medical conditions, dietary requirements, allergies and any other information that may affect your ability to participate in the Information Session.
• If you do not provide us with such information or you do not give us sufficient notice, we may not be able to arrange the necessary adjustments on the day of the Information Session.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS BY RABOBANK

• Rabobank may cancel the Information Session or modify the Information Session content due to:
  • the minimum number of required participant numbers not having been reached;
  • adverse weather conditions;
  • operational or logistical issues; or
  • any other unforeseen circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
• To the extent possible, we will provide you with reasonable advance notice if the program is cancelled or there is a significant modification made to the program content.

LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY

• During the Information Session, you undertake not to engage in conduct that may cause damage, loss or other harm to Rabobank.
• You will indemnity Rabobank for all damage, losses, costs, expenses and other harm (each a “Loss”) suffered by it arising directly out of or in connection with your attendance at the Information Session (other than any Loss that is caused by the negligence, fraud, mistake or wilful misconduct of Rabobank or its officers, employees, contractors, agents or representatives).
• Rabobank is not liable for any Loss beyond its reasonable control including Loss caused by the cancellation of the Information Session, a change of Information Session content, strikes, vehicle breakdowns or acts of God.
• In the event the Information Session is cancelled, Rabobank is not liable for any incidental costs you may have incurred in connection with the Information Session (including but not limited to flight, transport or travel insurance costs).
